Disable Screensaver in Windows 7
This post is for those who hate screensaver running automatically after some period of time in your office or home Windows machines.
You need to open the regedit.exe for this purpose. You could do a search in your start menu.
Right click on the program and select “Run as administrator”.
The following is the path, where the registry needs to be changed.
Navigate through the explorer and find the folder.
You would see a key ScreenSaveActive of type REG_SZ.
Double click on the key to open the registry setting. 1 (True) suggests that the screen saver is active.
To disable, you need to change the value to 0 (False). Click on OK to save and it’s done.
Hope this post is useful.
